How to move Apex Legends from Origin to Steam
Moving your game from Origin to Steam may help when Origin servers are down and you want to keep playing. Follow those simple steps to achieve this!
1. Ensure your game is up to date on Origin.
2. Locate your Origin game installation folder. Once you've found it, rename the Apex folder into Apex Legends.
3. Locate your Steam installation folder. Move the Apex Legends folder from your Origin folder into the Steam installation folder, which is at steamapps/common
4. Launch Steam and download the game from there. It will automatically find your existing files if you've done the previous steps correctly. A small additional download may be required, which would be much smaller than the full game.
5. You're good to go!
